Anne Denton was a well educated young woman from a leading Herefordshire family when she died during or shortly after childbirth in 1566. Liz Pitman explains her fascination with Anne's surviving book of traditional remedies and how this slim volume provides evidence of wider religious and political turmoil.

Landscape historian David Lovelace looks at historic maps and photographs and shows how they can be understood using digital methods. David is known for his presentations featuring the chronological layering of maps for countryside heritage research. There will be an opportunity to inspect original maps.
