Was your Ancestor a Freeman of the City of Hereford?

October 21 @ 10:30 am - 12:30 pm

£6

Between 1659 and 1832 being a Freeman was a must if you wanted to run a business or vote in elections within the City of Hereford. Jean Dobson, who has researched all 5000 listed Freemen, shows what the records of admission tell us about family connections, apprenticeships and local influence in the city.
