Janet and Mark Robinson will consider the role played by three Victorian Herefordians in developing cheaper telescopes to further this interest in our closest neighbour. Jean Dobson, who has researched all 5000 listed Freemen, shows what the records of admission tell us about family connections, apprenticeships and local influence in the city.
